Three bands in Kansas City who have really taken over are The Zeros, Liverpool and The KC All Stars.The Zeros came out a few years ago and really appealed to the 35 + somethings who graduated in the 80's. The Zeros do a great tribute to the "new wave" music of the 80's - no crappy white trash hair band 80's music. The Zeros typically take the show over the top doing multiple shots of Jaeger and sometimes getting pretty wild along with their middle aged crowd who are trying to relive their days of excessive partying that was the style back in the 80's. I don't know how long the band and their audience will be able to keep up with this 80's flashback, but for now it's as hot as it can get.
Liverpool is one of Kansas City's oldest and biggest acts. A Tribute to The Beatles, Liverpool performs all of your favorite Beatles songs from the Mop Top years to Sgt. Pepper - and they even change costumes to go along with the different musical stages that the Beatles went through. Liverpool also goes the extra mile by using the exact same musical equipment as The Beatles, they own over 100,000 worth of guitars alone! Liverpool is Kansas City's biggest draw for festivals and concerts.
The KC All Stars are the newest and hottest band on the scene in Kansas City. These guys pack a wallop with an incredible horn section, flashy dance steps, an award winning female vocalist and they are the only band that can perform hits from every generation, making them a perfect fit for Kansas City wedding receptions, charity fundraisers, company parties and other events that have several different age groups in attendance. The KC All Stars have something for everyone and they have the best stage show in Kansas City, hands down.
